The Prairiefire Crab trees planted on the east side of the Lost Nation Cemetery along Main Street are in full bloom.
Members of the LN Cemetery Association participated in the Lost Nation Visioning process undertaken several years ago. A three-phase update for the Cemetery was developed during this process.
Landscape Architect Meg Flenker provided the plans for the present plantings. The trees were purchased through a grant from the DNR.
This year's Cemetery project is paving several of the grass driveways throughout the Cemetery. For more information or to donate to this project, please contact Madge White, Secretary at 563-678-2613 or send your check to her at PO Box 293, Lost Nation, IA 52254.
